Barrettes
Intricate knotwork accented with lovely Austrian Crystals-
Each barrette starts out by knotting and is then stiffened. The knotwork piece is then tied and glued onto a strip of matching leather and a genuine French Clip. I usually have a full selection of black based barrettes, and will be adding colorful combinations soon. You may of course, order any color combination you like by contacting me directly.
Hair Sticks and Quills
These graceful hairsticks and quills are crafted using my flameworked beads and matching Czech glass for a refined and elegant style. I sometimes use gemstone chips for a different, yet equally lovely effect.
The "sticks" are carved by Mark Cooper of Signs of Spirit, using various hardwoods, usually walnut. They are incredibly strong and vary in length and design. Quills are genuine African porcupine quills which I re-enforce with steel rod for strength and durability. Both are available in 1, 2, and 3 strands. I gladly accept custom color or gemstone chip requests.
